As the demand for rigorous evaluation of policy and programming rises, it is important to build the capacity of community-serving organizations to carry out activities to test and communicate the effectiveness of community health programs and policies. This workshop will provide a practical and skills-focused introduction to process, impact, and outcome evaluation in community settings. You will be exposed to theory, concepts, and application of program evaluation techniques to strengthen your understanding of program evaluation methodology, data analysis, and dissemination of findings. Examples will emphasize equity-based approaches to evaluation and draw on best practices in the development of evaluation activities. The goal of this workshop is to provide attendees with the fundamental skills needed to participate in the evaluations of new and existing programs and policies.
