Program Description: Hazel Health believes that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for. Hazel is the largest and most trusted telehealth provider for K-12 schools and partners with school nurses, counselors, parents, and local providers to bring high-quality whole child health care to every student.
Services Offered: Currently we serve students in CCSD, Lyon County SD, as well as students enrolled in a number of charter schools in Southern and Northern Nevada. We also work school districts in other states throughout the U.S. We work directly with school staff by training them and providing them equipment necessary to conduct Telehealth visits and therapy sessions right from school. These services are available to all students (in participating school districts) at no-cost. The goal of Hazel is to provide affordable, convenient, and high-quality care to low-income families who typically experience major obstacles when considering accessing health-care.
Target Populations: School Aged-Children, Teens, LGBTQ+, African American Populations, Hispanic/Latinx Populations, Asian Populations, Pacific Islander Populations, Native American Populations, Low Income, Immigrants, Undocumented, Other, Hazel Health only offers services to CCSD students and a few charter schools in Nevada.
