Program Description: Workforce Development provides a combination of services, community supports, job training and education that positions an individual for success in the workforce. Business engagement activities connect business to a qualified workforce and develop employment opportunities for individuals in the workforce. Clients visiting EmployNV Career/Business Hub offices should expect to see all service providers housed under one roof, utilizing one name, offering a one-stop shop to businesses and employees. The collaboration of Nevada’s workforce partners provide ways to make it easier for Nevadans looking for jobs or training to find the services they need to acquire gainful employment and connect with Nevada businesses.

Services Offered: EmployNV Career/Business Hubs provide the following services: job search workshops; skills and techniques for effective job searches; resume preparation assistance; interview training; vocational and career self-assessments; access and referral to local jobs; individualized reemployment plans; state programs providing vocational and academic enhancement training; assistance with reemployment and training related expenses; and Veteran Services which including priority service, job search workshops, assessment & guidance services. All Hubs are equipped with resource centers providing access to computers, telephones, copy and fax machines.
