Program Description: The Children’s Advocacy Alliance (CAA) is a community-based, nonprofit organization in Nevada primarily focused on influencing policy change. We are an independent voice for Nevada’s children, advancing systemic change in the areas of early childhood education, children’s health, and child welfare. We achieve public policy wins through collaboration and collective impact within the community to ensure every child in Nevada thrives. CAA maintains two offices, in Las Vegas and Reno, with remote staff that engage and align our efforts throughout the state.

Services Offered: CAA’s 2024-2025 Top Priorities include the advancement and protection of insurance coverage for children and families: Continuing to defend, at the state or federal level, any efforts to defund or diminish Medicaid and the ACA; Expanding state level coverage/eligibility options and remove barriers to enrollment/re-enrollment; Conducting targeted education and outreach to encourage enrollment among eligible uninsured populations and reduce disparities.
