Program Description
: Tu Casa Latina is a nonprofit organization that provides humanitarian forms of relief for immigrant women, men, and children who are victims of crimes, domestic violence, abuse, and trafficking in northern Nevada.
Outreach and education to make sure individuals know that there is support for them .
Case review to confirm that we are able to assist and if not which agencies can provide them the support needed with use of our limited resources. Casework where we help the individuals complete their application process for possible U, T visas and/or VAWA paperwork to set them on a sustainable path for their future. Our Board of Immigration Appeals certification means that we can support these individuals with solid knowledge of the law that impacts their situation.

Services Offered: – U Visa application (for undocumented victims of crime)
– VAWA application (for abused undocumented women and men married to an American Citizen or Permanent Resident)
– T Visa application (for victims of human trafficking for sexual exploitation or labor)
– Other immigration forms
