FOOD SERVICES

Clark County School District Food Distribution

The Clark County School District (CCSD) will be providing free school meals to all children 2 – 18 years of age. CCSD is able to extend the meals to all children after the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) approved a waiver that CCSD requested.

Students may pick up meals at any food site. A student’s parent/guardian may also pick up meals for students without the child present during the meal pickup.

Three Square Emergency Food Bank

Three Square Food Bank work with a service network of community partners (this includes nonprofit and faith-based organizations, schools and after school and feeding sites) in our community to reach struggling individuals and families at risk of hunger. In 2019, we distributed more than 41 million meals, the equivalent of more than 50 million pounds of food and grocery product, through our community partners.

Nevada Department of Agriculture

The TEFAP provides non-profit distribution sites with commodities for redistribution to low-income families. This food is for household consumption and is free, but recipients must meet state and federal guidelines. Soup kitchens and other non-profit organizations that prepare and serve meals for needy individuals can also receive food at no cost.
